Join this workshop to learn how to support children and families through developmental screening using the Ages & Stages and Ages & Stages:Social-Emotional Questionnaires®.
The ASQ/ASQ:SE are family-centered developmental screening tools that provide a snapshot of developmental progress in early childhood. Participants will deepen their understanding of how developmental screening supports early identification of challenges; learn how to use, score, and interpret ASQ/ASQ:SE screenings; and explore strategies for engaging with children and families.
This introductory workshop does not require access to ASQ/ASQ-SE materials (i.e., manuals, toy kits) for participation. Providers would need access to these materials in order to use the ASQ tools for screening with families, and information will be provided on how agencies can obtain the materials if not already owned.
This training is being offered at no cost by the Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Workforce Collaborative (IECMH-WC) to birth through age five mental health providers serving children and their families enrolled in Apple Health (Medicaid).
