Seeding Great Starts: Nature & Early Relational Health

We’re partnering with Children & Nature Network to elevate the importance of nature for young children and families. This event will explore how nature connection supports early relational health, mental health, and child development.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Describe how nature supports early relational health, including its role in regulation, stress reduction, and caregiver-child connection.

  2. Identify ways that nature-based environments and experiences can strengthen relationships between children, caregivers, and practitioners.

  3. Explore real-world examples of how nature is being integrated into practice across early childhood, healthcare, and community settings.

  4. Identify at least one practical strategy or entry point for incorporating nature into their own work with children and families.
